Semester registration

Semester registration will open on the 15th of July for existing students and will be open until the 15th of September.
New students starting in August 2025 will be able to register from study start until the 15th of September.


All students
must register in Studentweb at the beginning of each semester. Studentweb follows the regular school year, with autumn and spring semesters. This means you need to register every August and January for the upcoming semesters and sign up for the exams.
New students starting in March or October must register in Studentweb at the start of their studies, and then again each August and January for the following semesters.

Log in to StudentWeb

Go to: https://fsweb.no/studentweb/login.jsf?inst=FSNUC.

1. Log in with Feide (or ID-porten if you are a Norwegian citizen).


2. Select “Noroff Education” and click continue.


3. Choose: “Use work or school account”.

 

Click on "Start registration"


Click the big green button: “Start registration”.

Click on “ + Register for exams” for all courses listed for the semester

Select the desired course from the list, then click “Save”. Repeat the steps for each course.
Please note: You do not need to register for lectures.

Why does it says 0 credits in my education plan?

Vocational schools and Universities operate with two different types of credits. Studentweb currently lacks functionality to display credits from vocational schools, including where you register for assessments and view results. You will still earn credits, and you will find the number of credits in the course overview in the study plan or when ordering a transcript of records in Studentweb (once you have received results).

You are now registered for the semester. A confirmation email has been sent.
If the automatic confirmation of your semester registration says courses: “None”, please log in to Studentweb and check your assessment notice. It is Studentweb that holds the correct information.
Click on “ + Register for exams” for all courses listed for the semester. Select the desired course from the list, then click “Save”. Repeat the steps for each course.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It says the semester fee has been paid for the current semester?
    Please note! When you log in to Studentweb, it will automatically state that you have paid the semester fee for the term. Please note that this is only a confirmation of your registration as a paying student, and does not confirm that you have paid the tuition fee for the term.

  • Why does it says 0 credits in my education plan?
    Vocational schools and Universities operate with two different types of credits.   • Lånekassen
    Please note that if you do not receive support from Lånekassen, you still need to register as a student in Studentweb.

    If you have been granted support from Lånekassen:

    When you are semester registered, your status as an active student will automatically be confirmed to Lånekassen, allowing you to receive loans and grants from them if your application has been approved.

  • Centrala studiestödsnämnden (CSN)
    Please note that if you do not receive support from CSN, you still need to register as a student in Studentweb.

    If you have been granted support from CSN:

    Please note that the semester registration is not linked to CSN. If you have been granted support from CSN, you must send the «Study Assurance» document to the school via the support portal. This document needs to be signed and stamped by the school in order for you to receive your payment from CSN.

    If you are planning to apply for support from CSN:
    You need to submit a request through the support portal to obtain an official confirmation of enrollment. Please note that you can request this as soon as you have been admitted to Noroff Vocational School.

 



Deadline for semester registration:

Existing students:

  • Autumn semester: September 15th.
  • Spring semester: February 15th.

New students - the first time you register:

  • Start-up in August: September 15th.
  • Start-up in October: November 15th.
  • Start-up in January: February 15th.
  • Start-up in March: April 15th.
